Sasabonsam
The Terror from Above
In the deepest thickets of the West African forest, hunters know better than to look up when the canopy goes silent. That’s where the Sasabonsam waits. With wings like a bat and iron teeth that can snap bone like dry kindling, it hooks its curved feet into the high branches, dangling its legs to snatch the unwary from the forest floor. It is a creature of the shadows, a silent watcher that reminds us that some myths aren’t just stories—they’re warnings.
